Ministry of Encouragement

Ambassador of Encouragement

A friend to pastors

Pastors and their families carry burdens that often go unseen. My Ministry of Encouragement is a simple effort to remind them that they are not forgotten and that their faithful work for the Lord matters. Sent out of Liberty Baptist Church in Republic, Washington, I travel to encourage pastors, their families, and local Baptist churches.

“Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.”

1 Thessalonians 5:11 (KJV)

Encouragement through presence

After years of pastoring, I understand the value of a listening ear, a word of encouragement, and fellowship with another preacher. My desire is to strengthen those who serve and support the ministry of the local church.

A visit may mean joining in the singing, praying with the pastor, supporting the preaching with a hearty “Amen,” or taking time to hear about the burdens and blessings of the work. Even a brief conversation can help a weary servant keep pressing on.

A visit without expectations

Many visits are unannounced. I come to attend a service and be a blessing, with no expectation of a preaching opportunity, meals, an offering, or public recognition. We can travel with a small camper, allowing us to visit without needing accommodations.

Partner in the ministry

You can help by praying for safe travel, open doors, and renewed strength for pastors and their families. Churches and individuals can also share the ministry with others or help with travel expenses and ministry resources.
